Your First Week

Early recovery can feel overwhelming - like you have to fix everything at once. You don't. You just have to get through the first week with a few supports in place. This worksheet is a simple, doable plan for the next seven days: small, concrete actions that build momentum and keep you steadier than willpower alone.

One week at a time, one day at a time: You're not signing up to be perfect forever. You're setting up the next seven days to go better than the last. That's a goal you can actually reach - and reaching it builds the belief that you can reach the next one.

This week's supports

Tick the ones you'll put in place in the next 7 days.

  • [ ] Reach out to one person or book one appointment
  • [ ] Put a filter or access limit on my main device
  • [ ] Attend or schedule one meeting
  • [ ] Plan my high-risk times in advance
  • [ ] Tell my supportive person my plan for the week
  • [ ] Do one healthy thing daily (movement, sleep, sunlight)

My high-risk windows this week

When this week am I most at risk, and what's my plan for those windows?

My one anchor

One daily anchor I'll commit to all week (a check-in text, a walk, a meeting):

______________________________________________

Momentum beats motivation: You won't feel motivated every day - nobody does. An anchor you do anyway, even on the flat days, is what carries you. Get through this week, and you'll have proof you can get through the next.
