Rebuild, Wait, or Step Away
Here's something important to know right now: there is no single 'right' answer that fits everyone, and no one gets to make this choice but you. You can work to rebuild, you can wait and see, or you can step away - and every one of those is a legitimate, honorable choice. This worksheet is space to think it through, on your own timeline, free of pressure.
Rebuilding is not more virtuous than leaving: Staying isn't 'good' and leaving isn't 'giving up.' The right choice is simply the one that's right for you and your safety - and it's yours alone to make.
The pressures I feel
Tick what's pushing on you.
- [ ] Pressure to forgive or stay (him, family, faith, culture)
- [ ] Pressure to leave (friends, my own pride)
- [ ] Fear of being alone
- [ ] Fear of breaking up the family
- [ ] What others will think
Whose voice is loudest right now - and is it actually mine?

The three paths, honestly
None of these is the 'good' or 'bad' choice. What would each ask of you?

Example — Path: Wait and see · What it would ask of me / what I'd need: ...
Example — Path: Step away · What it would ask of me / what I'd need: ...
My timeline
I don't have to decide now. What would help me get clearer, and how much time do I want to give myself?

A choice from clarity beats one from pressure or fear: Take your time. Whatever you choose - rebuild, wait, or step away - can be honored. This is your life and your decision, and you're allowed to make it slowly and on your own terms.
