Discovery vs. Disclosure
Discovery and the slow 'drip' of staggered confession re-cut the wound each time - every new piece lands as a fresh betrayal. A single prepared, complete disclosure, delivered with a therapist, can begin to heal instead. This sheet helps you see the difference honestly. As always, a formal disclosure is prepared and delivered with a trained therapist, and the process varies by situation.
Two very different experiences
Discovery or staggered confession: she found out by accident, or in forced pieces - each new reveal a fresh betrayal, trust eroding with every one.
Formal disclosure: one prepared, complete account, delivered with a therapist, on agreed terms.
What has she already lived through?
How did she find out? Has the truth come out in pieces? What did each new piece cost her?

What stays constant, and what varies: Prepared, complete, honest, and therapist-supported stays constant. How it's structured varies by therapist and situation.
